Field Goal?

I have to admit one thing, I like sports- especially the footballs of the world. I can sit for hours and watch Manning and Garcon throw the ball around and when it comes to Villa and Fabregas, I pull the rain checks out of my back pocket. However, my love of sports pretty much stops there. I can't stand Tennis, Golf, Baseball, and yes, of course, Basketball, but sometimes I don't have a choice in the matter. Last night my father lost all control as Jimmer Ferdette made shot after shot for BYU college basketball. They were playing... number 4 San Diego??.. and the game, I guess, was supposed to be huge and let me tell you what-It kind of was. Now don't get me wrong, every five minutes I was asking why the ref called yet again another foul and WHY do they need five time outs per half and I STILL don't get the whole foul if the ball is coming down rather than up thingy, but I had a good time. Plus I got some knitting done! (by the way- the scarf is a mess, but humorous.)

I'm trying to find and see new things in my life and even though I doubt I will become a religious watcher of BYU basketball (pun intended), it was nice sharing that moment with my family and being excited for a team again.... yeah... thanks Colts for screwing that one up.
For now, field goals will stay where they belong, in the football stadium, but family time is always welcomed! Speaking of family, mine is coming this week. The whole gang is getting together to strut our stuff in front of the camera. LSN, does it again with the fam and our old picture (I swear I was in elementary school) is getting replaced and hopefully we can all smile our big I'm not going to kill you smiles. Wish us luck!

with love from the Jimmer fan,

blue.

So here's the thing...

I've taken up knitting. That and I am determined to find time to join a yoga class and hopefully do something that I have always wanted to try. After that I will read some good ol' Sarte for school and probably have another shift at my favorite Italian restaurant. Soon to follow will be a good dinner with my family and some social time with friends. Hopefully then I can hit my head against the pillow and sleep in a little tomorrow since I don't wanna do my hair anymore. As I dream, I wonder if I will ever remember them.... This is to a life I have always wanted, but never put forth the effort. I am determined to grow, see, and explore the world around me and I am no longer waiting around for things to fall into place. I have done most of what I need to, now it is on to what I want.

Wish me luck, my friends.
I love you all.
Ciao.
